WoW in a Browser on iPhone
There is no official World of Warcraft app for iPhone or iPad. The system requirements stop at Windows and macOS. What you can open in Safari is a browser realm, a WebGPU survivors run on Safari 26, or a cloud stream of the real client. Those are three different products.
| Source status | Phone compatibility: project-reported · 1 source per project |
|---|---|
| Official app | None for iOS |
| Keldurn | Project lists iPhone and iPad Safari |
| Last Havens | Safari on iOS 17 or newer |
| Azeroth Survivors | WebGPU, Safari 26+ |

Realms that name the phone
Keldurn's home page lists iPhone and iPad next to PC, Mac, Chromebook, and Android, with touch controls over the classic interface and the same character as the desktop realm. That list is the project's own. Last Havens' iPhone guide, dated with the rest of its October 2026 posts, says Safari on iOS 17 or newer, touch controls, Add to Home Screen for a full-screen icon, and a reconnect after you switch apps. The first load is the same figure as desktop, about 50 MB.
Azeroth Survivors is the awkward one. Touch controls exist in the guide, and Safari 26 is when WebKit says WebGPU ships on iPhone and iPad. The same guide is built around a keyboard and warns that some phones stay black. I call phone support partial for that project and send black screens to the troubleshooting page.
Streaming the official game
GeForce NOW documents browser play and streams WoW to phones and tablets through its service, on top of a WoW subscription and a GeForce NOW plan. Shadow can put a Windows desktop in a phone browser, at the UK prices on its Chromebook page. Both add latency. Neither one is a native App Store client, and this guide does not link a store listing because the projects above do not publish one.
Questions people ask
| Can you play WoW on iPhone in Safari? | Not Blizzard's client. Keldurn and Last Havens say their realms open in Safari. Azeroth Survivors needs Safari 26. |
|---|---|
| Does the iPad use the same character as desktop? | Keldurn says the phone and the desktop share the realm character. Last Havens describes the same account you create on its login screen. |
| Is there an App Store download? | Not for these projects. The Android APK results are a different page, and they are not an iOS build either. |
| Will an older iPhone run Azeroth Survivors? | Only if the browser has WebGPU. That starts with Safari 26 on iOS 26. Older Safari may still open Keldurn or Last Havens, which do not require WebGPU. |
