WoW Arena in a Browser
Two different projects answer the wow arena browser search. Arena of Champions is a 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 brawler with 9 classes and 21 specs. WebWoW offers a 1v1 duel, rated 2v2, and a 5v5 Warsong match. Neither one is Blizzard's arena ladder.

Arena of Champions
The field guide at arenaofchampions.net, checked as a v0.23 snapshot, lists nine classes and twenty-one specializations, three maps, and the modes 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3. You can enter as a guest or register. A Windows client is optional. Patch notes for v0.23, dated 2026-10-31, add Destruction Warlock and adjust Feral, Subtlety, and Arms.
Choose this one if you want a talent-like spec list and short rounds. Skip it if you want battlegrounds, a persistent city, or a character that keeps raid gear. The class table lives on the Arena of Champions page.
WebWoW
WebWoW's own site describes a 1v1 duel, rated 2v2, and a 5v5 Warsong Gulch style match, with guest entry. An independent comparison updated 2026-11-02 treats it as the other arena people mean when they type wow arena browser. I do not copy player counts, because neither public page published a population I could pair with a second source.
Choose WebWoW if the Warsong 5v5 is the mode you wanted. Choose Arena of Champions if you want the larger spec list. Both send their own frame headers that refuse to be embedded here, so the buttons go to their sites.
Questions people ask
| What is the browser WoW arena game people talk about? | Usually Arena of Champions or WebWoW. They are separate projects, both free to open, and neither is the retail arena ladder. |
|---|---|
| Is there 2v2 in the browser? | Yes on both projects. Arena of Champions also lists 1v1 and 3v3. WebWoW lists 1v1, rated 2v2, and 5v5 Warsong. |
| Do I need an account? | Arena of Champions allows a guest or a registration. WebWoW allows a guest. A Battle.net account does not log you into either one. |
| Can I play this on a phone? | The public pages describe desktop browsers. Phone support is not stated, so this guide leaves that cell empty. |
