Arena of Champions

Arena of Champions is a free arena brawler you open in a desktop browser. The v0.23 field guide lists 9 classes, 21 specializations, three maps, and the queues 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3. You can play as a guest or register. It is not Blizzard's arena ladder, and it is not a full MMO.

What changed in v0.23

The patch notes titled Shards of Chaos, dated 2026-10-31, add Destruction Warlock with Soul Shards and Chaos Bolt, and they adjust Feral, Subtlety, and Arms. The two notes just before it are v0.21 Fresh Slate on 2026-10-29, touching four classes, and v0.22 Storm, Earth and Fire on 2026-10-31, touching seven. I list the dates as the notes print them. The live client site returned a block to the research fetch, so the snapshot used here is the field guide plus the embedded changelog, not a live scrape of every talent.

Specs in the table carry a class, a role, and a resource. Only some rows name the version that introduced them. Where that cell is empty, the guide did not print an introduction version, and I leave it empty rather than guess from a tooltip.

Maps and who should queue

Three maps are documented, with layout and line-of-sight notes on the maps page. Nagrand, Lordaeron, and Blade's Edge are the names in the data file. Spectator support is a column of its own because the guide records it per map. If you wanted a 5v5 Warsong match, that mode is WebWoW's description, not this client's.

A Windows build is optional. Phone play is not stated on the pages I used, so I do not promise touch controls. Rated play wants a registration; a guest can still enter. Start at arenaofchampions.live. This guide does not host the client.
