Is WoW Browser Free?
It depends which product the search meant. Blizzard's Free Trial costs nothing through level 20 and is not a browser game. The US subscription starts at $14.99 for one month. Keldurn, Last Havens, Azeroth Survivors, Arena of Champions, and WebWoW describe their browser projects as free. A cloud stream adds its own bill on top of a WoW subscription.
| Source status | US WoW and GFN prices cross-checked; UK Shadow price: 1 provider |
|---|---|
| Free Trial | $0, modern WoW, levels 1–20 |
| Subscription | US $14.99 / $13.99 / $12.99 per month |
| GeForce NOW | Free tier, US $9.99, US $19.99 |
| Shadow UK | £32.99 Neo or £49.99 Power |

Official prices
The Battle.net subscription page, checked 2026-11-04, shows US $14.99 a month on the one-month plan, $13.99 on the three-month plan, and $12.99 on the six-month and twelve-month plans. Regions differ, so I do not copy those US figures onto an EU checkout. The Free Trial support article, updated February 2026, caps the trial at level 20 and leaves Classic out.
WoW: Forever is included with an active subscription. It is not an extra box on the shop page I read, and it is not free of the subscription.
Browser projects and cloud add-ons
Keldurn's pages say there is no subscription and no game purchase. Last Havens, Azeroth Survivors, Arena of Champions, and WebWoW also present themselves as free to open. Azeroth Survivors needs no account. The others want a guest session or a login on their own site. Free here means the project does not list a fee. It does not mean Blizzard endorses the realm.
GeForce NOW still needs your WoW subscription. NVIDIA lists a free tier with ads and session limits, then $9.99 and $19.99. A partner page mentions about 15 Mbps. Boosteroid confirms Battle.net games run there, and I leave its price blank because the help page did not state a number. Shadow's Chromebook page lists £32.99 and £49.99 a month in the UK for Neo and Power.
Questions people ask
| Is the official game free in a browser? | The game is not a browser build. The trial is free to level 20 on the desktop client. Streaming it still needs that account. |
|---|---|
| Is Keldurn free? | The project says yes: no subscription and no purchase. You need an email or Google account on Keldurn, not a Battle.net sub. |
| Is GeForce NOW enough on its own? | No. You bring a WoW subscription. GeForce NOW adds its own free or paid membership. |
| Why is one price missing? | Boosteroid's regional price was not on the page checked here. The cell stays empty. |
